This project began with a simple premise: to build a box using only scrap wood, in collaboration with Offcut. I started by asking what makes a box a box—its faces, its edges, its act of enclosing.
What emerged was Adentro: a box made of doors, fragments, and shifting planes. Each side reveals something different. The exterior hints at the interior, and the interior holds a small, crafted container for safeguarding something precious.
Drawing from minimalist references like Donald Judd, Eileen Gray, and Josef Albers, Adentro explores the balance between care and play, structure and surprise. It’s a quiet invitation to look closely, to open, to explore.
Made from what was left behind, Adentro becomes a space for keeping, for noticing, for remembering.
